To ensure that I keep my blog updated I have decided to do a “favorites” post every month. Each post will highlight the things I enjoyed reading, watching, using or places I enjoyed travelling to for that month. So let’s begin with September.
September is almost over. It wasn’t the best month but I made it out. I learned a lot, grew a bit. I am also leaving this month behind with these few favorites.
Books: Night by Elie Wiesel is going to be a favorite of mine for a while. If you have ever read Ann Frank’s diary I believe you will enjoy this one. I would describe it as an adult’s side of the experience. I have a list of books I copied to challenge myself (10 books you can read in a day) and my friend happened to have this one. I’d recommend this book to anyone. It’s a story we all need to hear. Plus you can finish it in a few hours.
Music: I cannot function without music at all. The only thing I can do without music and not feel miserable is sleep. These are my favorites for this month.
Fashion: I don’t even know why I created this category because Euranique is not fashion. For the past few months I have been sticking to purchasing my outfits from Fashion Nova. I normally go for their dresses since that would be a complete outfit. All I’d need to add is my footwear.
Health/Beauty: For the past few months I have been making small changes for what I call “going clean”. I am trying to be as organic as possible with my skin care, hair routines as well as with what I put it my body. My favorite place to shop for skin and hair items is Earth Elements in half way tree. For this month I have been using the Jamaican black castor oil line from Shea moisture. On my skin I have been using an oatmeal soap bar and I moisturize with a mixture of oils. My mixture includes coconut, tea tree, and hemp seed oils. My skin feels like glory.
Have a great rest of the month guys.
